Ø Abdallah ElAdly served as
the head of the Tax Division at Deloitte Touch Tohmatsu for seven years and
served as an engagement Tax Partner for major Clients including some of Egypt’s largest
manufacturing, commercial and tourist companies and several leading banks. As
the Tax Division head, ElAdly has ultimate oversight in directing the tax
services provided to clients.
Ø ElAdly brings to each
engagement more than thirty years of
sound experience in strategic planning and a wealth of knowledge of Egyptian
tax laws and system, investment laws and sales tax laws. ElAdly has built an
impressive tax career record with Mustafa Shawki & Co. since joining the
firm in 1983.
Ø In addition, El Adly has
supervised several accounting, auditing, business administration and computer
training courses and seminars in Egypt, Europe and the United States, Mr. El
Adly has developed and instructed many tax courses both in house and for
clients.
Ø ElAdly professional
activities within the business community included serving as the Co-Chairman of
the Tax and Customs Committee at the American Chamber of Commerce in Egypt .
Ø ElAdly has participated as corporate
tax advisor in the planning and building of BOOT (building, own, operate and
transfer) projects offered by the Egyptian Electricity Authority. The advisory
were provided to major multinational companies such as AES Electric Limited,
KMR Power Corporation and Community Energy Alternative Inc. (CEA). Additionally
has been advising the government of Egypt
in PPP projects (Public Private Partnership ) and attended two conferences
presented by the government in Egypt
in this regard.
Ø He also used to be the tax
and business advisory partner of the most reputable firms such as Commercial
International Bank , National Solciete Generale Bank, Bank Nova Scotia, Bank of
America ,Proctor & Gamble, Philip Morris (Marlboro), Holding company for
metal Industries, EDF, Vodafone, BP, BG
and Chevron.
Ø Eladly has participated in
many taxes due diligence missions for national and international mergers,
acquisition and deals. Examples of the clients are Daewoo, Hero, Arab
International Bank , Kraft foods, Danon , Mibank and Shell. Additionally, lead
a project for restructuring of the Yemen tax authority.
Ø Eladly is tutor in
different tax subjects in Ain Shams University
and American University
in Cairo
